U.S. Vote Foundation, a non-profit, non-partisan public charity founded in 2005 to facilitate and increase participation of U.S. voters worldwide, has found its new home in the .vote gTLD. Located so far at usvotefoundation.org, its website, which among other things offers registration and absentee ballot request services, will soon be accessed at us.vote. In a joint press release, the foundation and the dot-vote registry Identity Digital explained that us.vote is an “ideal example” of how organizations can use “both sides of the dot” to create authentic digital identities and SEO-optimized Web addresses.
