PuntuEUS Fundazioa, Registry Operator for the .eus TLD, hosted on October 21st its yearly meeting with its registrars. The session began with opening remarks from Iñaki Suárez, the Director for Digital Transformation of the Basque Government. Mr. Suárez discussed with registrars the possibilities of integrating the domain name business in projects supported by the Basque Government throughout different levels of the local industrial environment.

Mr. Josu Waliño, puntuEUS CEO, presented the market trends observed in 2022. He also announced several marketing proposals, through which .eus expects to sustain the steady growth of .eus domains in cooperation with registrars. puntuEUS has today 13.477 domain names under management, and has maintained a >10% Year-on-year growth.

The event concluded with a great treat from .eus. A working luncheon in Eneko, a one-star Michelin restaurant famed for its innovative perspective on traditional Basque cuisine.
